A Lưới was once a key coffee-growing region in Central Vietnam, together with Khe Sanh. After more than 10 years away, high-quality coffee from Huế has been brought back to life. The coffee is picked, processed and roasted to create the only Huế Specialty Coffee, available only at Greenfields Coffee.

Huế Specialty Coffee – Bold is made from A Lưới Arabica beans. The beans are carefully processed, and a high share of the cherries are picked ripe from the tree. This gives your cup a natural sweetness from the sugars in the beans and keeps the astringency of green-harvested cherries to a minimum. 

Coffee composition:

• Huế Specialty Coffee is made from 100% A Lưới - Huế Arabica coffee
• Huế Specialty Coffee has a balanced, aromatic flavour with notes of ripe fruit and honey, and no sourness. 
• The coffee for phin brewing is coarsely ground, so brew it with water at 97 to 100°C to fully extract the coffee grounds. 
• Best before 12 months from the production date

Instructions:

Step 1. Rinse the phin and porcelain cup with boiling water

Step 2. Put 25 g of coffee into the phin

Step 3. Bloom the coffee with 50 g/ml of boiling water

Step 4. Pour another 40 g/ml of boiling water into the phin
