In Hue, you can enjoy a cup of salt coffee at a café, but you can also make one yourself. At PhinHolic, the Coffee Experience offers a different way to explore Hue's coffee culture. Participants don't just taste the finished drink: they learn first-hand about Vietnamese coffee, how to brew with a phin, and the story behind Hue salt coffee.
During today's session with a group of guests from Denmark, our visitors learned about A Luoi coffee, practiced brewing, and finished their own cup of salt coffee under the guidance of our trainer.
Make your own Hue salt coffee What makes the Hue salt coffee workshop special is that participants carry out every step themselves instead of just listening to an introduction. From brewing the coffee and preparing the salted cream to finishing the drink, each step is guided and explained by the trainer so participants understand how a well-balanced cup of salt coffee is made. The experience uses A Luoi coffee, offering a chance to discover a coffee closely tied to the land of Hue and to learn more about the ingredients behind one of the city's signature drinks.
